Still in Jew Yawk
Well back in NY from a week at camp woodward. Had one of the best weeks of riding i've ever had. Big thanks for those guys for the invite out to teach. Next year I might be spending a lot more weeks up that way. The videos below or from woodward but since I've up loaded them to vimeo it seems people have posted it on sites before I could haha. So if you haven't seen them, here they are again. This weekemd is the windham, NY 4x worldcup. Check back for video from that for sure. Also, you can watch freecaster.com for the live feed of saturdays race. Enjoy the videos!

still to net
It's been a struggle the past few weeks getting net. Between driving around and using net in my car now at woodward. I get crappy net service after 10pm when all the kids are away and i walked up to the main office about 200 yards from my pad. Race camp has started out good here at woodward. Been able to wake up, eat, do a 2 hour lesson, have lunch, another hour of lessons, do race training for myself then the day is free for track, trails, or park until 12pm. Pretty much you can train for everything here haha. Should have a good wet edit by the weekend so watch out for there. More to come....

No NET
Sorry I haven't had internet for a week or so now due to travel. Here is my Race Report from Colorado at the 4x National Championship...

Well a long weekend at 10,000 feet has come to an end. This past weekend was the US Mountain Bike National Championships in Granby, Colorado. Since Alabama is about 400 feet above sea level I headed out a little early to prepare. I’d have to say Granby was one of the nicest places I have been in awhile.Focusing on this race for awhile now I was really feeling good on the 26” going in for the title. We had about3 days of practice before the actual race so with a very fun track it slowly started to break down and get a little
more loose each day. Time trial day I fell in one of the turns getting warmed up. So I tried pacing myself to make sure I made it into the big show. I qualified 4th out of about 40 which gave me first lane choice until the main
event. I went straight through winning my 1/8, quarter, and semi final. Main time I went with my gut and picked lane 3 like all the other rounds to shut down the other riders on my inside by the first turn. I came out with the hole
shot again to the first turn but just didn’t shut them down enough. The guy in lane 2 took the chance on my inside in turn one bumping me and us both sliding down the off camber first turn. He came out with the lead pushing me to thetough inside turn 2 where I sled out. I was able to get up and finish with a 3rd. Guess this year just wasn’tmy time for the title. The weekend was a really fun weekend and can’t wait to hit more 4x races and hopefully by next year be able to get into “downhill” as well. Next race will be a BMX race in CT. Then off to NY for the mountain bike worldcup then to Canada for the Mountain Bike World Championships.

I'm not in New York staying with my buddy Joey Albright. I'm here until Worlds. Teaching woodward camp in a week or so. Then over to Windham, NY for the 4x world cup then Canada for the UCI 4x World Championships. More post to come....

South Park, PA Report
Started the weekend off with a long drive. My buddy Jason Larev and myself decided last minute to hit the NBL SouthPark, PA national for a little road trip. We headed straight to Ohio for some ramp riding. Stop by Ray's Indoor MTB park in Cleveland, OH on a closed day but luckily had some people to pull some strings and got the whole place to our selfs for a few hours. That place is amazing. If anyone ever has a chance to go, do it! Next we made the drive over the Pittsburg for the NBL national. Practice went great. SouthParks track is always super fun. Downhill and decent size jumps. Felt good hitting practice and feeling good without getting hit by any cars or missing flights all night before. Race day 1, had a good sleep and felt great getting to the track. Rode good in my motos giving me 3rd lane choice for the main event. Didn't get the hole shot but came out of turn one in 3rd and started to reeling them in from there. Made the pass for 2nd down the 2nd straight. 3rd straight going into the pro set I took the open door and passed for the lead over the pro set and going into the last turn. Last straight was all to my self taking the win for the Elite Men main event. Sunday was a different story. Body was still feeling good for another podium. Riding good in motos but in one I got caught up with another rider and hit the ground. Dumb fall but it tied me in points with another guy. The other guy got the tie breaker not giving me a spot in the main event for Sunday. Things are starting to look up. Now a long drive back to Alabama. Next stop, Colorado for the 4x US National Championships.

Weekend from hell
Another weekend with an awful start! ABA Midwest national in Rockford,IL this weekend. First I slept through my alarm Friday morning and missed my 7am flight. Got another flight at 3pm which got delayed and didn't leave until 4:30. So now I've missed practice. Had a lay overin Kentucky with a 2 hour delay due to bad weather in Chicago. Finally left and made it to Chicago an hour later, now it's 10pm. Tried to land and the winds are so bad the plane is all over the place and people are screaming. I thought for sure I was about to have my first plane crash. So we missed the run way and tried landing again. It got worse so the Pilot floored it back into the sky. Pilot comes on and says there's no way we can land. So back to Kentucky we go! Made it back to Kentucky at 11:30pm. Race starts in 10 and a half hours. We sat on the plane waiting to be told when we could take off again. Half of the people on the plane left and caught one the next day. We ended up leaving again at 2am. Getting us into Chicago at 3am. Nothing opened until 5 so I didn't get to leave until 6. Caught a 2 hour bus ride to the hotel. Then had a friend come pick me up. Made it to the track 10 mins before practice. Thought I'd be ok with out enough sleep. Diffinitly not! I was falling asleep in the tent between motos not even coming close to making the elite men main event. Had a good nap until mains and somehow got the energry to still race my pro cruiser main event and took the victory. The race ended aroud 6, got to the hotel at 7, got dinner and was in bed by 10pm. Only to have to wake up at 6am. Needing good sleep for that night and the night before. Sundays event was a carbon copy of Saturday. Tired all day, no elite men main event, and a victory on pro cruiser putting me tied for first for the ABA pro crusier title. To top off the weekend. I get to the airport an hour before my flight and due to Friday nights dramas. Southwest computers had my flights screwed up taking me 50 mins to check in. Luckily they rushed me through xray. I sprinted to the plane. Got on sweating and had to kick off a stand by flyer because it was the last flight home for the night. Glad to be home!!

Roseville Report.
Roseville California ABA national. The weekend was looking good after a much needed 2 weeks back home in Alabama after getting some good training in. Showed up to the track and built my brand new bike then took it for a light ride to the store. Well on the way back to the track riding down the sidewalk, a younger girl was pulling out of a gas station in her car. She slowed down like she was going to stop so I kept going. Well she wasn't looking and pulled out as soon as I got infront of her. Running into my front wheel and over my bike flipping me onto the concrete. She was freaking out while still on top of my bike. I got my bike out and my carbon sinz forks held up like a champ with only a few scratches. I straightened my bars up told the girl it's alright and to have a good day with a little laught and I went on back to the track. By the time I got back I realized I slammed my knee cap pretty good and thought my weekend might be done early. Great weather and a good track I ended up just pushing through the pain. Saturday motos went good and I was going into turn one in the quarter bar to bar for third position and slid out. Not making it into the main event. Stillhaving pro cruiser i only managed to pull out a 2nd place. Sunday was a new day. Starting to feel banged up I worked my way into the Elite men main event and the Pro cruiser main event. Fighting from the outside i ended with a 6th in elite men and the top podium spot with the win in pro cruiser. Next stop will be Rockford Illinois. Think I'll be flying in and sitting under the tent until it's time to get on the track and be injury free..

Gotta lay off the facebooktwitteriphone
Well I made it back from Copenhagen. After Copenhagen I headed over to Austria for round 2 of the UCI 4x world cup season. Had a nasty little fall in Denmark and did something to my tail bone which took me a few days before I could get the legs working hard again. We got to Maribor Slovenia and the weather wasn't looking great. Turned out being ok for practice but right before time trials the rain came. This was my first time really riding in mud and I had to do my only time trial run in it first shot. Felt good all the way to the last straight. Came up short on one jump and couldn't finish the rest of the straight. Luckily I rode to top half pretty well and still qualified 13th which gave me first lane choice for the race. The next day was the race and we woke up to rain. By the time the race started I had never been in so much rain and on my bike. First lap was going great and I was qualifying out. Well i blew a clip going into one turn and having so much mud on my feet when I put it back on it slipped right back off and I had the slowest, dumbest crash pretty much just falling over. Not making it out of the first round.
Came back to the states for the NBL South Carolina National. Feeling great back on the bmx. Day one I tagged the gate pretty good but worked my way back up for a 4th place finish in the main event. Day two didn't go as planned. Feeling even stronger the next day winning all my motos and getting first lane choice for the main event. Had a good gate from 1 and made one mistake over the first jump just enough the let the other guys get back around me. Getting stuck at the bottom of the turn with no speed I kept dropping back and ended up with a 7th in the main event.
Been able to be home for a good much needed 2 weeks to get ready for the ABA National in Roseville, CA this weekend....

Copenhagen
Well round 2 of the UCI SX Series is here. I made it over the Copenhagen, Denmark yesterday and already having a good time. Pretty cold and windy so the weather isn't the best right now. Track looks super nice. Really smooth and soil tacked. Our room is the smallest thing i've ever been in. It's Jason Larev, Nic Long and myself. We had two others but they ended up not making the trip last minute. Our room has a set of bunk beds, 2 twin size beds and a sink. The bathroom and shower are down the hall way. Toilet in one room shower in the other. There is enough room to walk in the door, turn around and walk back out haha. For sure a hotel that will make stories while we are here. Check out my facebook for photos as the days go by.

Too much Facebook and Twitter....
Yea it's been awhile since I have updated the site! I can't seem to stay in one place long enough so all the updates have been from my phone on Facebook and Twitter. So for some daily updates check out twitter.com/BarryNobles95. I'm going to get back on keeping this updated for the bigger events.
I've had a few races since the last update. Went over to Desoto, TX for a COLD national championship but could only come home with a #6 national number. Next was a little flight over to Madrid, Spain for the first 2010 UCI Supercross Series event. Not going into that race very prepared from not riding a supercross hill for 6 months it pretty much turned out to be a tourist week but a lot of fun and got in some good riding. Came home from Spain and drove 10 hours to south florida for the NBL Easter National in WestPalm Beach. Getting a solid 3rd place podium finish put me in the points race for the NBL Elite Men title. Right after florida I flew out to California to check out the Sea Otter Classic mountain bike event. Been trying to go there since I was about 14 so it was nice to get a free weekend for it. Now i'm just hanging out at the kozy cabin with Kris Fox. Getting some off the track riding for a bit then heading down to San Diego to the Olympic Training Center to get ready for supercross event #2 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Can't wait to go home for a bit afterwards.
